Cross-Tech trommel brushes are made from top quality polyester with excellent bend recovery to clean your screens without breakage. Most brush suppliers use nylon bristles. Nylon absorbs water, reducing its stiffness up to 30%. The water absorption also causes the nylon to freeze and break in the winter months. Nylon is also affected by sunlight causing untimely wear. Our polyester brushes are more durable than nylon, they are abrasion resistant and have a high resistance to sunlight.
